What is the difference between an A rated property and a G rated property and how much will I save by having a better rating certificate ? If we take the below chart as our example - all properties are identical in size and the energy cost is (€0.14/kWh) kilo Watt per hour the only difference. You will see a house that has an energy rating certificate of A1 / A2 / A3 will save more money annually on their energy bills.
As you will see the graph starts at A1 rating and finishes at G rating Green to red. If your property is rated anywhere between A1 and B3 your property will save a sigifigant amount of energy per year. If your property rating is any where between C1 & Rating G your property is loosing heat through various parts of your house, this maybe insulation or other means.
